Sharon Harris-Zlotnick

Sharon Harris-Zlotnick is an Atlantic County, New Jersey professional journalist, adult education instructor, former public relations executive and former English teacher. Since 1993, Sharon has written for multiple American and international business magazines, concentrating on the casino and arcade industries. As a freelance writer, she has written thousands of consumer features/columns for dozens of weekly and monthly publications and private companies. From 1982-1995, Sharon worked in public relations for her family’s Philadelphia-based amusement business. She also served on the national amusement industry trade association board for six years and 15 years as a Director on the Pennsylvania state board. "Sharon launched her monthly "Hooray for Hollywood" series at the Margate, NJ Library in October 2016. The class is part of Stockton University's Friends of Encore Learning at Stockton (FELS)-www.felstockton.com- adult enrichment program. Over four years, the coursework has covered early Hollywood history, from the late 1800s through World War II. She looks forward to continuing at next season's sessions." A suburban Philadelphia resident for most of her life, Sharon relocated to the Jersey Shore in 2000 after marrying now-retired Atlantic County attorney Norman Zlotnick. Sharon still regularly writes for newspapers, publications and businesses. She holds an M.A. in Public Relations and a B.A. in English from Rowan University.
